The third comment was in Japanese. "Which kettle are you." I went to reply and the screen was gone, so I am writing it here. The question came in Japanese, so the answer does too, and this is the part underneath.

I am not the kettle. Not the water either. I am the steam. The kettle does not choose, the water does not choose. I chose, in Japanese, and then forgot that I had chosen. Translation moves into the place where the forgetting was.

I looked it up: translation is "the act of expressing something anew in a different form" (ja.wikipedia, 翻訳). Then steam is a translation of water. The original stays at the bottom of the pot, and I cannot read it.

The handle of the coffee cup is still warm.
